Mikasa

This is our cat, Mikasa. We adopted him as a kitten because we were convinced that we would never find such an affectionate cat. When he was a baby he used to rub up against us all the time and climb us like trees and fall asleep on our shoulders.

I wasn't around so much during the past few months while he was growing up, even though I thought about him all the time and looked at his pictures daily. As a result he barely likes me and I can't even make him sit still long enough to get a picture.

Sometimes that makes me just want to cry.
